“ The lamb chops is off menu but one of the best best lamb chops I have had! Very flavorful and cost 30. Other menu items are great! I have not tried the buffet but I am sure it is great. ”
“ Visited this restaurant for the first time last night, and was immediately impressed by the laid back but upscale environment. The lighting was dim, the modest interior decorated with actual flower vases and hanging crystal chandeliers which matched the goblets we drank from. Immediately we were served by Nil, a very polite man who always made sure to top off our water. He arrived just when we needed assistance, and both of the servers were incredibly in tune to our needs as customers. We ordered the sample platter, mango lassi, goat and chicken curry to share and Nil brought us plates to share from. We ate our fill, although the star of the night was the mango lassi. Never had a better one in my entire life. Not too sweet, served with whipped cream and a cherry drizzle. The goat curry was the best, the spice level can be chosen when you order as well which soothed my sadly bland American palette. We finished up the night by having some coated fennel seeds for digestion, and our server went a step beyond the ordinary and went so far as to package our to-go package himself! Granted, we were the only two customers in late evening on a Thursday night. But this is truly a gem among restaurants. I seldom leave reviews, but this astronomically good experience needed one. ”
“ I don't have Indian food often, but sometimes it really hits the spot. Masala Art offers great tasting entrees such as the Reshmi Kabob. Definitely stop by if you're in Branchburg. ”
“ My husband and I stopped here for dinner tonight (Sunday) on our way back to NY from PA and had a fantastic experience! Our server, Clifford, went above and beyond to help recommend spice level (medium, which was perfect for us as it was still mild enough but also flavorful) and adjusted the veg Thali plate to swap out items for vegan/non-dairy items (black lentils, veg jalfrezi and chana masala, plus a veg soup, and swapped the naan for roti and even added garlic at our request). We also ordered the veg samosas and dal tadka - all of the food was delicious! We had a little leftovers, yummy lunch for tomorrow :) And after the bill came, as I was putting my leftover water into my water bottle for the drice, Clifford brought us more water to top it off - great service! We hope to come back next time we're in the area. ”
“ I've been consistently happy with the food and service offered at Masala Art. This is my go to place each time. We have catered from here as well and everyone was raving about the food. If you want the best quality of food, it won't be in the buffet. The staff is nice and polite. ”
“ Reliable. Open late. Full menu of beautifully made, traditional North Indian dishes. Prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. Samosas bigger than your fist. Malai Kofta was on point. Tandoori anything there is amazing. ”
“ They never disappoint. Love the homemade taste in their food. Food quality is always top notch. Never fell sick or had stomach issues after eating at this place unlike some of the other places. Been eating here for several years now although I have moved out of the area. Aloo papdi chaat, tadka daal and Aloo gobhi masala are my favorites. Peas pulao used to be much better few years ago. It was mild and had a tinge of sweetness in it. It has now become spicy, because of the masala being added to it, which I am not a big fan of, but still overall, I am quite happy with this place. ”
